The Truckload Carriers Association supports its member organizations in a variety of business matters, from providing representation on public policy issues to assisting with personnel recruitment and retention. The organization will soon provide new insight on the unique human resources challenges facing the truckload carrier sector with the introduction of its WorkForce Builders Conference. From June 28-30, 2016, at The Westin in Indianapolis, Indiana, association members will gather to hear from marketing and human resources experts on recent changes in the sector and strategic solutions to its challenges.

The inaugural Workforce Builders Conference will feature keynote speaker Patty Cox, an expert in the digital marketing sphere. Patty Cox’s previous roles include global head of automotive marketing solutions at LinkedIn, and she draws on her extensive experience to serve as executive-in-residence at Northwood University. Ms. Cox will share with conference attendees her “strategy first” philosophy for addressing the workforce challenges in the truckload carrier industry. While offering guidance on specific issues including effective employee retention and company branding, she will encourage TCA members to explore innovative strategies to accomplish their human resources goals.
